Following a decision of the member associations, the president of the FCA-FAC has written to the mayor and councillors expressing concern with the results of the OMB appeal of the Official Plan. The president has sent the following letter on our behalf.

Decisions taken at the November 2 General Meeting directed the Executive of the FCA-FAC to make representations to city officials concerning Ottawa’s response to the refugee crisis in the Middle-east. The following documents indicate what has been accomplished thus far. The presentations to city officials were supported by this short power-point.
The FCA, in conjunction with many member associations, has written to Mayor Watson and the Ottawa City Councillors requesting that them to get engaged in the process of determining the location of the community mailboxes and ensure they are made aware of any future cost implications to the city.
