The General Meeting was held using Google Meet video services. Community Benefits was a prime topic of discussion. The province has mandated a new Community Benefits Charge (CBC) which would apply to a limited class of residential buildings. City bylaws implementing the CBC must be adopted by September 2022. There was also a presentation by the Community Benefits Network, an organization for collaboration in seeking benefit agreements for large development projects.
