Transportation Committee

Mobility for residents of Ottawa is the focus of the Transportation Committee. The committee has organized workshops and appeared before Council Committees regarding citizens’ issues with transportation.

In the context of the Governance Review which the new Council will consider on December 5, FCA-FAC has written to request the terms of reference for the Transit Commission be changed to permit Councillors to review (and be held accountable for) major operational issues. Currently Council votes only on the OC Transpo budget, fare structure and labour negotiation mandate.
