2017 Community Safety Awards

The Community Safety Awards are not far away. The ceremony will take place on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 5 p.m. at Ottawa City Hall.  Save the date!

 

Don’t miss your opportunity to nominate a deserving community safety leader. The deadline for submissions is October 3, 2017. The awards honour individuals, groups and programs making Ottawa a safer city for everyone.

 

Nominees are being sought for the following award categories:

  • Business Award
  • Youth Leadership Award
  • Enforcement Professional Award
  • City Employee Award
  • Volunteer Award

The next General Meeting will be held Thursday Dec. 8 at the Overbrook Community Centre 33 Quill St. A discussion on community safety, featuring senior officers of Ottawa Police Services will be the prime feature of the meeting. A proposal for a submission for the OMB Review will also be discussed.
