Save the Date! FCA sponsors Mayoral Candidates Meeting Oct. 9 @ 7pm @ Tom Brown Arena, 141 Bayview Road (Bayview Transitway Station)
The FCA (Federation of Citizens Associations) is sponsoring a Mayoral Candidates Meeting on Tuesday October 9 (7 pm) at the Tom Brown Arena, 141 Bayview Road (near the Bayview Transitway Station). All mayoral candidates have been invited. Candidates will be responding to top FCA concerns (from our September 13 FCA meeting) regarding planning, transportation and other issues important to our communities.
This meeting will be moderated by Joanne Chianello, CBC Municipal Affairs Reporter. It is open to the public.

The next General Meeting of the FCA-FAC will be held Thursday September 13 from 7:15 pm at the Overbrook Community Centre, 33 Quill Street. A principal theme of the meeting will be discussion about issues to raise with candidates in the October municipal election.

FCA-FAC has submitted written comments on the proposed high-rise development at 900 Albert. The letter to Council members is found here. In addition to writing, FCA-FAC President Sheila Perry outlined concerns about the proposal before Planning Committee on July 10, 2018.

The Annual General Meeting of FCA-FAC [Federation of Citizens’ Associations of Ottawa] will be held at City Hall, Col. By Room from 7pm on Wednesday June 20. Member associations are invited to send delegations to the meeting and observers are welcome.
