On October 15, 2025 FCA issued a statement on the Tewin development, a significant development proposed to the south-east of the present urban area of Ottawa. The statement was issued on the occasion of a motion before the Planning & Housing Committee calling for reconsideration of the earlier designation of the Tewin lands as a region for future urban development.
