On September 15, 2025 the FCA External Relations Committee received briefings by City staff on the third/final draft of the proposed zoning by-law and on the review of the private approach by-law.
The third or final draft of the zoning by-law was released on September 8 and will be considered on December 17 at a joint Planning & Housing Committee and Agriculture & Rural Affairs Committee. A review of the private approach by-law is about to be launched. A “private approach” refers to a driveway or walkway on a portion of the City’s right-of-way which provides access to a private property.
